Vision

 Media art here mostly happens alone. We're building the structure underneath it. Most practicing media artists in Belgrade work between day jobs, show a piece once, and move on without much of a local structure to catch them. There's no shared studio, no standard of critique, no institution keeping score.

SYNC is closer to a guild of practitioners than a collective with a shared statement. Code and technology are craft here, not subject matter. What connects members isn't an aesthetic or a manifesto, it's the work itself, and a commitment to building the formats, standards, and stage the scene doesn't have yet.
 Vision

Everything SYNC builds points toward one goal: strengthening the local scene until it's substantial enough to support a festival that earns a spot on the world media art map.
